Гранты по пластиковым отходам

It is our pleasure to inform you about a series of projects on plastic waste to be undertaken under the Basel and Stockholm Conventions’ Regional Centre Small Grants Programme (SGP) – in short, ‘SGP on plastic waste’.

The SGP on plastic waste is implemented in the context of the project “Further actions to address plastic waste under the Basel Convention” (BRS-Norad-2), funded by the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad). For further information on BRS-Norad-2, please visit this link.

The first call for project proposals is now open until 15 July 2020 at 23h59 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).

Under the SGP on plastic waste, Basel and Stockholm Convention Regional Centres are invited to submit project proposals on the following results areas:

  1. Controlling the transboundary movements (TBM) of plastic waste;
  2. Improving the environmentally sound management (ESM) of plastic waste;
  3. Preventing and minimizing the generation of plastic waste;
  4. Reducing the risk from hazardous constituents such as persistent organic pollutants in plastic waste.

The projects can be implemented in one or several countries that are eligible to receive funding under the technical assistance programme of the Basel and Stockholm Conventions and are listed on the development assistance cooperation list of overseas development assistance (ODA) recipients.

If your country is eligible and interested in receiving support from the regional centres on the above-mentioned results areas, please contact the Basel Convention Regional and Coordinating Centres (here) or Stockholm Convention Regional Centres (here).

Please consult the attached modalities and visit our webpage for further information on the SGP on plastic waste by following this link.
