KR Foundation receives a large number of applications, and applications that do not match the Foundation’s criteria for funding will not be considered. Please make yourself familiar with the Foundation’s criteria for funding and program areas prior to submitting an application.

Initially, a brief Letter of Inquiry (LOI) should be submitted through the template available in our online Grants Portal, Fluxx. Please note that KR Foundation only receives LOIs from two weeks before the application deadline. Guidelines for LOIs are available in the guideline section.

Based on a review of the LOIs, a limited number of applications will be invited to submit a full proposal for the Foundation’s final consideration. Guidelines for Submitting Full Proposals are available here. Due to the volume of LOIs that KR Foundation receives, the Foundation does not have the resources to offer feedback except to those invited to submit a full proposal.

Applicants will be notified whether or not they have been selected to submit a full proposal in early March 2018. The deadline for submission of full proposals will be in early April. Applicants will be notified of KR Foundation’s final decisions on funding in the middle of May 2017.

The deadline for LOIs is 31 January 2018 at 5pm CET http://krfnd.org/apply-for-funding/
